Do any oil additives work?


This is a very good question. We cannot speak for all types of additives because a number of very different technologies are used. There are products based on ceramics, using heavy chemical components, soft metal additives, and others. It's hard to decide which one is better as they each have their pros and cons.


  • Engine noise. Proper clearances ensure even compression in the cylinders, resulting in good balance on every cycle. Engine operation becomes "soft" and quiet. Proper clearances also reduce part vibrations and micro-shocks to stop rattling or ticking.
  • Burning oil. Proper clearances ensure correct operation of the oil scraper rings. Oil is effectively removed from the cylinders and does not enter the combustion chamber. As a result, it does not burn out and there is no need to add oil during the interservice period.
  • Another point is oil leaks. If you see oil stains on the ground under your car, this means that there is a seal in the engine case or some oil seals and gaskets are broken. These details have nothing to do with friction and therefore tribocompound cannot help.


Atomium tribological compositions use the special properties of natural minerals mined at a depth of 150-200 meters from underground. These minerals activate electrons on friction surfaces and allow them to trap small metal particles from engine oil. Forms a special protective layer, which makes many positive changes in the operation of the engine.


It works? The answer is yes, since tribological compositions have been sold and used since 2002, up to 5 million engines have been processed without any complaints.


Can an oil additive restore my engine?


This is exactly what the tribological composition does. Thanks to the protective metal layer (see explanations above), engine parts can return to their original dimensions and shape. This allowed them to work as if they had just come off the assembly line. The correct shape of the friction surfaces means that there are optimal friction gaps between them, which is important for the correct operation of the entire system. This restores engine performance.


How to make it easier to start the engine?


The protective layer created by the tribotechnical composition on the surfaces of the cylinders is able to retain oil for a long time even when the engine is turned off. It is much easier for the starter to make the first piston movements when starting the engine. This is especially important for diesel engines in cold weather. It also greatly reduces wear caused by dry friction and keeps your engine running longer.


How to extend the life of a diesel turbine?


What could be the connection between an oil additive and an engine turbine? Atomium compound restores friction gaps. This prevents oil from entering the combustion chamber and restores compression. After all, this provides better fuel combustion and less dirt and soot in the exhaust. Dirt and soot are detrimental to turbines, as they change the weight balance of the turbine blades. The cleaner they are, the longer the turbine lasts.


In addition, optimal friction clearances prevent exhaust gases from entering the oil. This reduces the cleaning properties of the oil, its density and other characteristics. Needless to say, this seriously extends the life of the entire engine.

Many automakers recommend cleaning the engine before changing the oil. The fact is that during operation, the oil collects various contaminants - slags, deposits, oxides. Some of them fall into deposits in the oil channels and other parts of the system and can no longer be dissolved by conventional detergent additives in the oil, since they are almost used up.


When changing the oil, however, the cleaning properties of the new oil are quite high and some of the contaminants get back into it, sharply reducing the service life and reducing its working properties. The need for flushing is especially high when switching from mineral oils to synthetic ones, the washing properties of which are much higher.


Pre-flushing the motor thus becomes an important factor in maintaining its performance. Flushing from "Suprotek" is universal, suitable for both gasoline and diesel engines. It is "soft", the flushing period is 200 kilometers before the planned oil change, without destroying rubber products, without affecting fuel combustion modes, it is safe for injectors and other components.


However, it is not recommended to greatly exceed the 200-kilometer run, since the washed-out contaminants collect in the oil, which reduces its performance.
