Effects of application

Being in transmission oil, the “Reductor” composition creates conditions under which a metal protective layer is formed on the friction surfaces. This layer partially restores the dimensions and geometry of worn parts, optimizes clearances in friction pairs, and allows a greater amount of oil to be retained on the surface of parts.

This allows:

  • Reduce noise and vibration. Optimization of clearances and restoration of bearings reduce noise and vibration during operation of the gearbox;
  • Improve runaway. Keeping a denser oil layer on the surface reduces friction losses, which increases the run-out: driving the car in neutral;
  • Extend resource. The formed layer on the friction surfaces and the retention of a dense oil film significantly reduce wear and increase the service life of the unit.

Instruction for application

Treatment of transfer cases, differentials and other reducers is made in accordance with the following procedure:

  • Warm up the unit up to operating temperature (regular operation) and operate it under the working load for15-20 minutes.
  • Stop the engine
  • Stir the compound in the can thoroughly until natural sediments (active components) are totally dissolved.
  • Apply 1 can of the compound through regular filling neck. It is enough for treatment of the units with transmission fluid volume from 0.7 to 2.2 liters.
  • Immediately after applying it is recommended to drive the car for no less than 20 - 30 min. in regular operation mode.
  • After the procedure you can use the car as usual.

To provide continuous level of protection of the unit it is recommended to apply the compound further after each scheduled replacement of transmission fluid.

Precautions:

  • Does not pose a threat to health under normal conditions of use.
  • In case of skin contact, wash the exposed area with warm water, and then with soap and water.
  • In case of contact with eyes, rinse them with plenty of water.
  • In case of contact with the digestive organs, consult a doctor.
The tribotechnical composition "Reducer" is designed to protect against wear, prolong the service life and restore the characteristics of transfer cases, differentials, self-locking differentials, viscomufts, haldex couplings, high-friction differentials, and other automotive gearboxes where transmission fluid of any type is used.

Notes:

  • Shelf life is 5 years. The date of manufacture is indicated on the label.
  • It is not recommended to use in case of mechanical breakdowns of parts and assemblies.
  • Atomium Reducer - composition is compatible with all types of transmission oils, including ATF-based oils.
  • The sediment at the bottom of the bottle is the main working element of the "Reducer" composition - microparticles of minerals. It is extremely important to thoroughly mix the contents of the bottle before pouring into the unit. (The color of the sediment may vary from light green to dark gray and black depending on the batch of release).
  • Atomium  Reducer - composition does not interact with clutch clutches and does not affect their wear and performance.
  • Overdose when applying the composition 1.5-2 times is not dangerous for the gearbox and does not disrupt its operation.
The composition Atomium Reducer does not affect the characteristics and condition of parts made of composite materials, ceramics and rubber products.
