Oil additive to maintain performance characteristics and reduced wear of any type of engine after its complete treatment with other compounds of Active series. It should be added to motor oil after each (or at least each second) oil change.
It restores protective layer on friction surfaces on the go and thus: significantly reduces wear speed, prolongs engine lifetime, maintain compression, highly efficient fuel burning and therefore power, acceleration and low fuel consumption.
Active Regular designed to maintain protective layer, but isn’t able to restore a worn engine from the scratch. It is suitable for all engine types and designs, including turbocharged ones. It doesn’t change oil properties and acts only on metallic surfaces.

Active Regular compound should be added to fresh motor oil after its regular change. To add the compound follow next steps:
Before applying Atomium Active Regular shake the can thoroughly until natural sediments (active components) are totally dissolved. Sediments are actually active component.
Warm-up the engine to the normal working temperature, then shut off the engine,
Pour Atomium Active Regular through the regular oil filling neck.
After applying Atomium Active Regular make a drive on the car during no less than 20 min. in any mode (regular operation)
In case the oil volume in the engine is more than 5 litres – add 2 cans of compound at once.
It is not recommended to apply the lubricant at existence of mechanical breakages of parts and assemblies
Atomium Active Regular is compatible to any type of engine oils and doesn't change their properties
To achieve the full level of protection the treatment of all vehicle parts is recommended, such as transmission gears, hydraulic power steering etc.
Precautions: Not harmful if applied correctly.
In case of a contact with skin remove the material wash out with warm water, and then wash again with soap
In case of contact with eyes wash out eyes with large amount of water

Below we will try to make a short review of various technologies used in oil additives to give you a clear understanding what is difference between them and Atomium tribotechnical compounds. Unfortunately there is no other way to choose between various products as to get a picture of how they work.
There are various problems which are pushing car owners to look for an oil additives. Let’s see most frequent ones:
Oil additives to stop oil leaks
The reason is clear – internal engine space is not sealed anymore and oil finds some gaps to run away. It may be a damaged gasket, dry oil seals or even cracks in engine body or oil pan. To verify is it so or not relatively easy – look for oil streaks on the engine or oil drops and puddles under the car. If oil leaks – it should be outside! There are some oil additives to stop oil leaks in some cases. Some of them restore size and elasticity of rubber oil seals, other are able to fill in cracks with special chemical agents.
Atomium compounds are not able to help here. Compounds are working only in areas of friction between two metallic surfaces. Obviously it has nothing common with rubber.
Engine oil cleaning additives
There are various types of contaminants or debris in the engine and we could write a long article how do they appear and why they are dangerous. But on the level of common sense it is obvious that a clean system works better than a dirty one. The oil is easier delivered through oil channels to all the engine sections, all the moving parts have no obstacles to move and so on.
How to know if you should clean up your engine? No engines stays clean inside forever. Just look at overall mileage. If there are more than 50-70 thousands kilometers it is reasonable to consider some cleaning efforts. And then each 40-50 thousands. Old engines get dirty faster. There are various cleaners of different formulas. Some of them are used shortly before oil change, others should be in the system permanently.
Atomium compounds are no cleaners. They do remove some undesirable soots and deposits, but only from friction surfaces. It is very helpful and important for proper engine work. But no contaminants are removed from oil channels, combustion chamber or other sections.
Viscosity modifiers for motor oil
Actually here may be listed any other oil modifiers which can change detergent properties, its flash point, temperature range etc. All kind of oil stabilizer (whatever that means) may be included in this group as well. All the additives of this kind interact with motor oil and changes its properties in the complicated chemical way. To use them you have to have a very good understanding what exactly they do, how they do it and what it will give to your engine. The main problem is that there may be a lot of unexpected side effects with different brands of oil. It is also hard to predict how it will work in various engine modes and in various weather and road conditions.
Atmium compounds are completely chemically neutral, they do not interact with motor oil and do not change its properties. Compounds are working only in friction areas and changing the structure of metallic surfaces.
Antifriction oil additives
There are many various formulas which are using soft metals, chemical agents, ceramics or even some Teflon or other polymers. Each one has its own pro and contra and it would take few pages to describe them. The common idea though is to cover friction surfaces with some film-like structure which would reduce the friction coefficient. Various oil additives may do it with various efficiency. The important point is that it is a good thing for relatively new engines. Reducing of friction may indeed reduce the wear speed and preserve engine chracteristics for long time. The general bad side is that they will not seriously help to already worn engine.
Atomium compound reduces friction. But it is rather a positive bonus effect than a primary goal. Compounds restore worn surfaces and create on them special protective layer whih has microporous structure. It provides strong oil retention ability. Dense oil film reduces friction for 50%.
Engine additive to restore compression
It is frequent topic, but here we can list some others: oil additive to remove engine nose (knocks, ticking, tapping), additive to stop oil burning, additive to restore power and acceleration, additive to lower fuel consumption. What is common between so different topics? The answer is – the reason. These symptoms appear mostly because of natural wear in friction areas.
And here Atomium compounds are helpful as they restore friction surfaces and optimize friction clearances and let all the parts to work as they are new ones.
Oil additive to reduce friction wear and maintain effects achieved with engine treatment by compounds of the “Active” series.
Additives of Active series are using unique properties of a nature mineral. Being in micro-areas of local contacts of two wearing surfaces it activates electronic connections in the metal. Then surfaces may capture metallic parts and therefore gradually build up a protective metallic layer. It restores geometry of the surface and able to hold denser oil film which bring up many positive changes in the engine work.
The layer is more hard and elastic on the micro-level than regular metallic surface. It reduces the speed of wear, but not to zero. It naturally happens that further friction will separate micro-particals of metal here and there. It will make the protective layer thinner and less effective.
The tribotechnical compound Active Regular contains a minimal amount of active component to prevent destruction of protective layer. As soon as layer is broken somewhere there appears local friction contacts with temperature and pressure high enough to let compound components do their work and restore layer back.
Permanent use of Active Regular allos to protect engine from wear completely and therefore provide following effects:
Maintain compression, power, acceleration achieved after engine was treated with Active or Active Plus compounds.
Maintain low fuel consumption and avoid oil burning.
Maintain extremely low wear speed and thus avoid costly engine repairing.
Important note: the compound doesn’t affect the properties of motor oil intentionally or accidentally. It is completely chemically inactive and doesn't have any side effects. It does not affect any properties of engine oil, does not artificially change engine operating modes, does not affect the condition of rubber parts-seals, seals, and so on.
Concentration of active component and its properties aren’t enough to restore a worn engine. Compound is effective only to fix little breaks of already existing protective layer.
